The Bevis Centre is on a mixed farm in Carmarthenshire in West Wales. We have sheep, cattle and horses, as well as being the biggest falcon breeding centre in UK. About twenty people work at the farm, breeding falcons or working on the conservation programmes. There are several farmhouses and cottages.
Close to the yurt village a widespan barn providing all-weather facilities for activities. Cooking and shower/toilet facilities are under construction. All facilities are designed for disabled access.
Across a field from the yurt village is a picturesque farmyard called Blaencwm. One of the buildings there, the Longbyre, is currently under construction, being a stone building with a turf roof. It will provide facilities for indoor activities and for the administration team. It includes full 6mb wifi radio-broadband.
